The confectionery tradition in Catalonia dates from time immemorial and since its very beginnings has been associated with awards, festivity and celebration, special occasions requiring particular attention or a symbol or message of feelings or events (affection, love, christenings, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries...).
Six episodes, a master confectioner will show us how to make six of Catalonia's most significant sweets, each related to a particular celebration. We will also look at its origins, some interesting anecdotes and its resemblance to similar sweets in other countries.
