Pablo runs a highway drugstore and lives a quiet, monotonous sort of life. He spends his days with Adu, his female DJ friend at the disco next door, until one day an enigmatic stranger by the name of Frank turns up at the drugstore and changes his life. A whirlwind of events is unleashed that force Pablo to re-evaluate his existence.
This is a story of life on the border, the border between eventfulness and nothingness, a story at the edge of a physical and emotional desert, in which the players try to fathom the enigma of their destinies.
