Albert is representative o a political party that, by a bare margin, is about to govern one of Spain’s autonomous regions. Far removed from the internal struggles of his party, he remains faithful to his was as treasurer and mentor of the younger generations. He loves his wife and is crazy about his kids. But the harmony of family life is shattered when his father-in-law goes broke and Albert suddenly discovers he can’t cover his debts. It is just then that the president of a major real estate company, hearing of Albert’s financial difficulties, tempts him to stop being an honest man.
