An informer and two police agents are murdered in an abandoned factory. And Susi is next. Police inspector Mario Soler manages to save her, but a bullet leaves him blind. Susi repays him with only currency she has: herself. She is by his side as he begins the long, hard journey to rehabilitation, and is the first to suffer his rage at the loss of his most treasured gift, sight. At first, Mario rebels against Susi’s imposed guardianship but he begins to discover fissures in the granite-like hardness of a girl who has lived beyond her years.
