As a single mother, Ana has worked very hard to raise her son Pau, who is now reaching adolescence. The trauma and distress she has undergone with her ex-husband José, Pau's father, have led to her deep rejection of men. After observing with dismay the change in Pau's personality that came along with puberty, Ana becomes obsessed with the notion that all men, and that means her own son as well, hide a horrible and revolting secret.
