Lucía falls in the bath while her husband, Toni, is watching TV. No-one expects her to lose her sight. And neither does Lucía, so the doctor's diagnosis is the end of the world to her. Thus begins ''Without you'', and thus it ends for many of its victims, but not for Lucía. For just such an occasion Lucía has been saving one last act of rebellion, a last will for life and happiness. She is tempted to wallow in depression, considers suicide as the definitive escape and flirts, too, with the idea of dwelling forever in the confines of her handicap... but something and someone thrusts her back into life. It is the alternative to fatality. A resurrection.
