Gao Feng is an old widow man from the countryside that due to his vegetative state moves to the city to live with his son. He gets fascinated by the city, altough his state of health prevents to show his feelings, and his son locks him in his little apartment. Boredom and frustration appear as Gao Feng receives the visit of some strange and fantastic animals that will help him to adapt to the new environment of the city.
