After almost twenty years of creative drought, porn filmmaker Pepe Fons decides he owes his audience one last movie, even though no one has asked for it. This is the seed of the most ambitious Spaish movie ever: National Uprising, the two Spains making love instead of war. Pepe has a dream: to revive his golden years as a filmmaker and to make a porn movie version of the Spanish Civil War that will finally do it justice. What he is not expecting though is that, in the middle of this unromantic setting full of sex and pathetic characters, he will experience the most beautiful three love stories ever to remember.
