Verse Code reveals the power of the word and the new forms of urban expression through the main representatives of hip-hop in Spain, by the hands of a university professor and a professor of poetry. Through all of these specialists, the film will explore the origins of social rap and draw comparisons between the MCs of today and the poets of other eras, to demonstrate how the word can be a tool for expression and a social breeding ground, despite the mass media’s censorship of certain contents in favour of commercial products that are devoid of value.
