Having lost the Spanish Civil War, hundreds of intellectuals and writers crossed the border into exile. Joaquim Jordà has traced the path of some of those exiles, revisiting the places they went and rebuilding the memory of the land. Along this journey he encounters different living witnesses of the most important events that took place. Accompanying him are the texts narrated by the different writers who were involved in the events and who left behind their literary testimony.
