Homo Baby Boom lends a voice to six families of lesbian mothers and gay fathers in Catalonia and Valencia who describe how they had their children, what reactions they have had to face and how their lives changed after the legislation changes in 2005, which allow homosexual couples to get married and adopt children. They now have the same recognition as any other family, yet they still stir up surprise around them. How do the other people react? And at the schools? And their own families? As adolescents or adults, what do their children think? And what are the conclusions of the studies that have been run thus far on homoparental families?
