Synopsis
A look back at the life of the photographer, Francisco Boix (Barcelona 1920 - Paris 1951). After the Spanish civil war Boix's exile led him, along with another 7000 Spaniards, to the concentration camp of Mauthausen. There he was assigned to the photographic laboratory from which he stole more than 2000 photographs in a resistance operation unprecedented in the history of Nazi repression. After the liberation, Boix contributed some of these photos to the Nurembourg Trial, as accusatory proof against important members of the military leadership of the Third Reich.
