A report on the everyday life of Belgrade during the international seige which gives an insight into how a country, without enduring war directly, lives out the drama at its side.
The lack of food and medicine, the deficiency of service and the highest inflation in the world affect the life of the Serbian people who find in the black market the only alleviation of the desperate situation caused by the international embargo.
The argumental discourse is woven around four characters - an old woman, a writer, a local journalist and an international reporter - and illustrated by the statements of the hill, professionals or black marketers who convey their pain, their rage, their absolute lack of hope for the future. A report with hard, factual tone that shows the dark side of the most important international conflict of our times.
