A documentary on the situation of the population of emigrants from black Africa currently living in Spain; on the back citizens who struggle between their memories and homesickness for their homelands and the desire to integrate in a country in which it is difficult to obtain conditions equal to those of the natives.
The protagonists of the programme have established themselves in the city. They are intellectuals, teachers, artists, traders. But all of them have experienced the stigma of racism. They are seemingly ''integrated'', but do they really ''coexist'' with the population? On the slightest pretext they will be reminded that they are ''different''. Can they, under these circumstances, feel the land they live in to be their own, even having been born there as in the case of their children? Black children who supposedly enjoy all the rights and obligations of any other Spanish citizen - but in practice it will not be like that all. Certainly they will be equal before the law... but unequal before men.
