In the early years of the Spanish transition period, between 1977 and 1979, the Catalan photographer and journalist Anna Turbau moved to Galicia to work as a graphic correspondent for Interviú and Primera Plana, two magazines published in Barcelona that marked a new way of doing committed journalism.
Anna Turbau's camera was the only one present in the first years of the Spanish transition period in Galicia, where the incipient social, political, trade union and assembly movements were slowly coming to light.
