Synopsis

100 Days is a documentary that aims to offer an accurate, objective and detailed portrayal of the final days of the Spanish Civil War in the Catalan town of Figueres. When the capital of the Alt Empordà region became a key city in the war, Figueres and its people found themselves in a dramatic and gripping position, enduring some of the most horrifying moments in the history of the country.
With a testimonial compilation of the facts and the contribution of several experts and historians, the documentary builds a tense narration that explains the events that took place between the end of the Battle of the Ebre and the total occupation of the region by the national troops. At an inexorable and irreversible pace, 100 Days reviews the events that determined the history of our country in those final days of the war: the caravans of exiles, the brutal bombings, the building of shelters and the suffering of the civilian population.
Through the prisms of both the heart and painstaking objectivity, 100 Days portrays the intensity of some of the most uniquely terrible moments endured by Figueres and the Alt Empordà region, 70 years ago.
