This is the story of four characters, four stories that emerge in a single common backdrop of corridors, cells and waiting rooms, of distressed faces and lost looks, of absurd and enigmatic gestures, in a large mental health hospital somewhere on the outskirts of Barcelona.
The human panorama and the daily activity of the vast hospital complex mark the chronological development of the story. For a period of one year covering all four seasons, the lives of the four characters intersect in this arena due to a single, shared cause: all four suffer from psychosis, each in a different way.
