Created in 2000, Orbita Maxis a Barcelona-based production company that specialises in large-format filmmaking, documentaries and corporate videos.

The company is controlled by Orbita Report and the RBA Group and directed by award-winning Spanish journalist and filmmaker Jordi Llompart, who has 25 years of experience in the television and documentary film area.
Orbita Max became a pioneer in large format films in Spain with its 2005 production, Mystery of the Nile, the first Spanish IMAX® film in history.

In addition to the international distribution of other types of productions, such as television documentaries and documentary series, Orbita Max also creates audiovisual productions for institutions and corporations. These include audiovisual creations for exhibitions, special events, corporate videos and DVD productions.
Orbita Max continues in its ongoing pursuit of innovation and its development of new 3D productions for IMAX® and digital theatres.

In 2007, Orbita Max received the Sant Jordi Prize for the Most Innovative Company in the Spanish audiovisual industry.
