Acteon works to create the best material and organizational conditions to help certain cultural initiatives successfully reach their goals. This is what we call production, and for Acteon, production also entails a commitment to the ideas out of which projects are born and developed. Indeed, Acteon believes that those ideas are just as important as the projects themselves.
The company currently has three preferential areas of activity:
· Installations. This is the group of artistic appearances, generally in public places, that aim to offer new images and new forms of communication and participation in the local life of those places.
· Film and television. The production tasks carried out at installations and shows, where audiovisual materials are used often, have led the company to produce television documentaries and to make its way into the production of fiction films for the cinema.
· Contemporary musical theatre. Today, Acteon is one of the few producers in Spain that specifically focuses on this genre, and has been working in this area since the company began. The idea is for composers, librettists and stage directors to find in Acteon liaisons and advisors, to enable them to freely develop all of their projects, including the most daring.
